Art inspired by dance and movement

Artistic Approach
Welcome to a practice where creativity and physical expression converge
where dance becomes visual art and visual art dance .
My work explores the intersection of movement and visual expression. Beginning with the language of dance, I translate motion into visual forms, creating a unique body of work that seeks to offer a psycho-somatic visual experience while expanding the boundaries of contemporary art.
Artistic creation, both manual and conceptual, serves as a lens through which I examine the human experience. Through this lens, I aim to merge the emotional depth, freedom, and sensuality of movement with the enduring presence of visual art.
At the core of my practice lies a commitment to the artist’s role in society and a conscious resistance to consumer culture. My mission is to foster meaningful artistic expression while raising awareness of cultural identity—locally and globally—through exhibitions, teaching, and interdisciplinary workshops. These offerings provide a sustainable alternative to the transient values of mass consumption.
My creative process often begins with drawing live dance sessions, particularly those involving Contact Improvisation and Butoh practitioners. These sketches evolve into sculptural works—simplified aluminum cut-outs designed as wall pieces, mobiles, or free-standing sculptures.
I also work with plasticine and wax, creating rhythmic, abstract, anthropomorphic forms that are later cast in aluminum or bronze.
Environmental awareness is integral to my approach. I prioritize the use of recycled and repurposed materials, embracing sustainability as both a practical and creative driver. My workshops combine visual art, movement, and collaborative creation, encouraging participants to engage in conscious, sustainable practices.
Looking ahead, my vision includes the development of large-scale public artworks in partnership with architects, designers, foundries, and municipalities—projects that integrate sculpture into shared spaces in a meaningful, eco-conscious way.
My portfolio includes drawings, cutouts, sculptures, and costume prototypes for performance—all unified by a deep connection between movement and form.
